JournalBooks is a strong supporter and member of the following organizations:
Timeplanner® Calendars, Inc. (“factory”) reserves the right to withdraw any item and to change services or prices without notice.
All orders are subject to acceptance by the factory, which reserves the right to refuse any order. All orders subject to credit approval and acceptance. A Pre-payment amount or other security deposit or both may be required based on the cost and size of the order.
An order is considered “production ready” when all elements required by the factory to produce and ship your order are received. Incomplete orders (i.e., orders awaiting imprint copy, cover colors, final quantities, etc.) are held out of production until required items are received by the factory. After all information is received, your order will be processed in our normal production time unless otherwise specified.
Due to the custom nature of notebook and calendar production, overs and unders are normal and in accordance with printing trade customs. For notebooks or calendars requiring only cover imprints, a variance of 5% over or under the quantity ordered is to be expected. For orders requiring custom overprinting of filler pages, calendar pages and for pictorial calendars, expect a variance of 5%-10%. Overs are more likely than unders. The factory strives to ship at least the quantity ordered. In order to do so, the factory must start production with sufficient additional materials to allow for spoilage losses (in printing, cutting, punching, binding, stamping, & packing). After inspection, if production has been reasonably efficient, there should be more good books than ordered. Orders that state “ship no overruns” are subject to underruns and accepted only with that understanding.
An acknowledgment will be sent to you via fax or e-mail when the order is factory ready. This will reflect costs of the products, options that have been selected as well as estimated die and art charges. Please read the acknowledgment carefully to ensure that your instructions have been followed and that you are in agreement with the pricing. The factory requires you to sign and return the acknowledgment within 24 hours in order to maintain your production schedule.
Orders will be subject to all costs incurred to date or a cancellation charge of $50(X).
Most orders take approximately 7-15 working days after production-ready (factory-ready) order or proof approval has been received. Your order will not be processed until ALL required art and information have been received. Additional time may be required for the more complex orders requiring customized dies, custom filler, screen printing, or multicolored imprinting. Please call the factory for estimated time on custom orders. Factory will acknowledge an estimated ship date on your order acknowledgment.
Features such as elastic band closures, vinyl pockets, or business card pockets may require additional time due to special ordering. Please call factory prior to ordering for production schedule.
Rush service is available for most journal products. Basic one-color foil-imprinted journals can be produced in 10 days from proof approval standard or in 5 days from proof approval with a 20% rush fee added to the unit price. Minimum rush fee is $75(G). Failure to approve your paper proof within 24 hours WILL delay your production. To minimize delays, please provide factory-ready art that does not need a proof for the 5-Day rush service. For 5-Day service, order must be received by 11:00 am Eastern Standard Time for the day to count. Foil matching, custom filler, multi-color imprints, and screen printing are not included in this service. Other products may be rushed; however, rush fees will differ and will be based on the factory’s ability to produce in the allotted time frame. Please call the factory with your special needs. We will do whatever we can to accommodate your needs.

Happily employed with Journalbooks since August of 2005. Started in Customer Service processing PO's, and transitioned to Sales in May of 2008. I have had the privilege of travelling to many trade shows and meeting the distributors that I have grown very close to in my time in this industry. From Ohio, but fan of Crimson Tide college football, Tarheel college basketball, Dolphins pro football, Bulls/Heat pro basketball.

Born and raised in California, I have been in Charlotte almost 10 years and considers it home! A lot of my free time is spent reading (primarily sci-fi and fantasy), in the air at aerial silks/lyra classes, and I love to cook. Traveling is also a huge part of my life and I’m always thinking about my next trip!

I was born and raised Charlotte. I moved away for college and lived by the coast for a bit but recently made my way back home to be closer to family. In my spare time you could find me hanging on the couch with my hubby drinking a glass of wine while watching movies\TV series. I love sci-fi and fantasy and enjoy being a nerd about it.

Born and raised in Buffalo, NY, most of my earliest memories revolve around Buffalo Bills football and chicken wings. I started college as an art major in painting and finished it at RIT with a degree in Graphic Media Publishing. I’ve worked in the printing industry in Minneapolis, San Francisco, and Seattle before ending up back in Buffalo for a few years, and then finally settling in Charlotte with my 3 boys. When I can carve out some free time you might find me doing lyra, making mediocre art, kayaking, or spending time with my favorite humans.
